Lending a Hand

Volunteering Work: I have been supporting the community through different efforts - participating outreach programs, providing resources and creating impact where it’s needed most.

Expanding My Reach: With my Master's in Counselling, I’m excited to extend this work into emotional and mental health support, helping individuals thrive beyond the surface.

And This Is Just the Beginning!

FOR THE COMMUNITY

VOLUNTEERING PROJECTS

Elderly : Healthcare & Well-Being

In collaboration with the National Cancer Health Society, I assisted in health screening outreach programs, helping elderly individuals from different communities get access to essential medical checks.

I supported non-medical procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, and Hepatitis screenings.

Children : Education and Crisis Helpline

I mentored underserved children, guiding them through homework assistance and engaging activities.

As part of a crisis helpline initiative, I also provide emotional support to children facing difficulties, offering them a safe space to express their thoughts.

Environmental : Protecting the Ecosystems

As initiative by Litre of Lights, I worked hands-on to assemble and install solar panels in Orang Asli villages. These systems provide families with access to stable electricity, helping to power homes, schools, and basic appliances in remote areas.

Orang Asli : Sustainable Living

As volunteer to assist in different environment activities: beach cleaning, mangrove tree planting, environmental educational session and terrarium building with kids.

Ex-Convicts : Reintegration & Second Chances

I participate in mentorship programs for ex-convicts, helping them develop soft skills, job readiness, and emotional resilience as they transition back into society.

Refugees : Assessing Needs for Meaningful Aid

I work with local associations and UNHCR to survey refugee homes, assessing their needs for essential aid. When necessary, dispensing and distributing aids to the refugees' homes.
